About Miss Christopherson:
I am so excited to be teaching your child in fourth grade this year!  I will be responsible for teaching Math, Science, and Religion while my partner teacher, Mrs. Hiland, will teach Language Arts and Social Studies next door.

I graduated from Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton Teacher’s College in May of 2019. I completed a year and a half interning and completing my student teaching here at Saint John XXIII, and I am thrilled to be able to stay at this wonderful school to keep developing beautiful relationships with each child and family. I am passionate about how influential a Catholic-based education can be in a child's life, and I feel honored to be able be a part of this wonderful journey we will go on this year!

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my loved ones. Family is extremely important to me, and I am lucky to live so close to my mom, dad, and brother (who also attended Saint John XXIII). My older sister is currently living in Columbus, Ohio.  I am  engaged to my fiancé, Justin, who is finishing his dental degree at Midwestern University.  We are planning to get married in Maui next June of 2021!

I am excited to watch your child learn and grow this year both academically and in their faith. I believe that each child has individual needs, and I will challenge myself to grow and find the most effective ways for each child to learn. If you need to contact me for any reason, please do not hesitate to send me an email or leave a voicemail. God Bless!

About Mrs. Hiland:
I am happy to say that I am starting my tenth year teaching here at St. John XXIII.  I enjoy working with children and helping them to explore our world through literature, history, and religion.  The best part of  teaching at a Catholic School is that I get to weave our beautiful Catholic  faith throughout  all my lessons  during the school day.  I do my best to provide a safe, loving, and caring environment in my classroom where students are not afraid take chances and learn from their mistakes.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 34th Wedding Anniversary later this year.  We are blessed with three children who have all attended St. John XXIII.    Both my husband and I are ecstatic as we are expecting our first grandchild, a girl, in October.
